Y2KHELLA '24 BABY

It’s that time of year again, arguably the most known festival in the USA - Coachella. Whilst the line up is always incredible (hello No Doubt!), the thing that gets us most excited is seeing everyones outfits, every current trend is explored, magnified and put all over social media.

It will come as a shock to absolutely no one that the Y2K trend was out in full force, we’re talking low rise bottoms with thong straps showing, Paris Hilton being Paris Hilton and Renee Rapp donning a Matrix-esque outfit to perform in (bringing out Kesha to sing TikTok was a top tier choice btw).

Seeing a trend become so global is such an interesting experience, watching people in our little East London pocket dress so similarly to others 5479 miles away at Coachella solidifies the power of the Y2K trend. It’s here to stay and quite frankly, we loves it.

There’s such a variation in how people are interpreting Y2K but there seems to be an overarching theme of rock and roll thats sticking in the majority of the outfits - be it animal print, leather, all black etc.

We wonder what week 2 of Coachella is going to bring!
